Andrew's story
A life spent learning, playing, and teaching guitar.
Andrew first picked up the guitar at 10 years old. By the age of 13, the hobby had grown into an obsession, and he started performing and gigging with local bands. Upon reaching high school, his passion for the instrument grew as he began teaching guitar to his peers and younger students. He spent the next decade playing in bands, releasing music, and teaching guitar privately.
In 2015, Andrew joined GuitarLessons.com, one of the early names in online guitar education. He spent his time there as their community and content manager, teaching members through behind-the-scenes livestreams and occasionally appearing on the company’s YouTube channel. GuitarLessons.com eventually grew into Guitareo under the Musora brand, where Andrew continued to work directly with students to help them achieve their guitar goals. During this time, he also wrote for The Riff, and was featured in YouTube videos that reached millions of viewers.
Andrew left Guitareo in 2019, and in 2022, launched his own YouTube channel. Today, more than 220,000 guitarists subscribe for his lessons, and he teaches a growing community of students from all over the world.
